Deadly Car Crash in Orland Park

A crash on Sunday evening in the southwest suburb of Orland Park lead to
the death of 24-year-old Ronald Bobowski.
At about 6 p.m. a SUV traveling westbound on 143rd collided with a minivan
making a left turn into the intersection. The driver of the SUV, Ronald
Bobowski, then lost control and slammed into a pole. Bobowski was extracted
from his vehicle when paramedics arrived and was taken to Christ Medical
Center in Oak Lawn. He sustained multiple injuries from the crash, and
was pronounced dead by the medical examiner's office at 7 p.m. Sunday night.
The driver of the minivan was a 51 year old woman and was with two passengers.
They received medical attention, but were later released. The driver was
cited for failure to yield while turning left and no proof of valid insurance.
These types of accidents are extremely unfortunate. The last thing that
any family member should have to think about is a lawsuit. However, the
immediate investigation of such accidents by a third party is vital in
determining the liability in the crash, especially when insurance is an
issue. The more time that passes, the more likely witnesses are to forget
details. In addition, it is important that the Bobowski family seeks out
an attorney to represent the victim during the traffic hearing, in the
event that citations were issued.
